Empathy is definitely lacking in the space right now. Awesome post, using analogies and concepts people already understand to explain blockchain is so important. Prompting someone to ask the “exploratory question” is key and I agree that starting with why someone should care is a great way to start (Apple doesn’t sell iPhones by explaining how an iPhone is manufactured).

Yet, I still struggle with the part of me that sees people proposing blockchain as a solution to every possible problem and it makes me think: at what point does discussing potential use cases lead to overhype? Maybe it’s just par for the course, but it’s a thin line to walk.
